Join AIANY and DOCOMOMO US/New York Tri-State for a book talk on The Edith Farnsworth House: Architecture, Preservation, Culture. The book charts the Farnsworth house from its original design by Mies van der Rohe through its 20 years as a publicly accessible site owned and administered by the National Trust for Historic Preservation—neglect, floods and multiple owners in between. Michelangelo Sabatino, the book’s author, and Alice Friedman will speak, foregrounding the role of client Edith Farnsworth. Barry Bergdoll will moderate.
