
The Zabar Family Scholarship supports students studying historic preservation or related fields at a college or university in New York state. Three recipients are awarded $3,000 each for the spring 2026 semester and are invited to attend the New York Statewide Preservation Conference with travel and registration covered. Applicants must be U.S. permanent residents, Preservation League Student Members (free), and enrolled in fields such as architecture, planning, engineering, public history, museum studies, landscape architecture, sustainability, or the historic trades. Applications require a form, 500-word essay, resume/CV, transcript, and one recommendation letter submitted as a single PDF.
