The James Rose Center, a non-profit landscape research and study foundation in Ridgewood, NJ, will open for the 2023 season on May 20. The Center was formerly the home of landscape architect James Rose, built in 1953 for himself and family members. Known for its unique modern spatial language, its expression of an alternative approach to conventional post-war suburban residential development and as the constantly changing laboratory of one of landscape architecture’s most inventive minds, the James Rose site is one of the 20th-century’s most important landscapes. Enjoy guided tours and brief history of the residence of James Rose through October 28th.
