Related to Docomomo US’s 2024 Corporate Campuses theme, this Bloomberg article examines some modern corporate campuses built in the late 1960s and 1970s that have been renovated and repurposed. Among the sites discussed are Eero Saarinen’s Bell Labs campus (1962) in Holmdel, NJ, now known as Bellworks, the Downtown Houston Post Office, Processing, and Distribution Center (1961) currently known as POST, and another SOM-designed modern campus,Baxter International (1975) in Deerfield, IL.
