IDC 2026 scholarship grantees reflect on a successful conference

The New York Tri-State Chapter awarded scholarships to three graduate students from our region to attend the 19th International Docomomo Conference in Los Angeles in March. Five chapter board members also attended.

The biennial International Docomomo Conference convened a global community of members and colleagues to engage with pressing international issues and emerging ideas shaping the future of the built environment through the lens of the Modern Movement. Attendees were offered a dynamic program featuring exciting venues, scholarly sessions, networking and social events, and the signature Docomomo tours.

Conference organizers are preparing the formal conference proceedings for publication online. Recordings of keynotes, roundtables and most sessions will be available on the Docomomo US Vimeo channel soon as well.
