The former Whitney Museum of American Art designed by Marcel Breuer and his partner Hamilton Smith recently sold to Sotheby’s which plans to make it their New York headquarters. With a change in ownership and use, we fear that Breuer’s original interior could be permanently and unsympathetically altered.
