On view at Bell Works is The Landscape Architecture Legacy of Dan Kiley, The Cultural Landscape Foundation’s traveling photographic exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Dan Kiley (1912-2004). Kiley was one of the nation’s most important postwar landscape architects. During his prolific career, which spanned more than half a century, he worked with equally significant architects, including Eero Saarinen, Louis Kahn, and I.M. Pei, to create internationally acknowledged Modernist masterpieces. Kiley’s legacy is substantial, influential, and, like most Modernist designed landscapes, ephemeral.
