Join DOCOMOMO US for the 2020 Modernism in America Awards. For the first time, the awards will be free to attend via a virtual ceremony on Thursday, November 12.

Culturally significant as the first public housing for African Americans and an early example of International Style, the Willert Park Courts in Buffalo, NY, will receive the Docomomo US 2020 Modernism in America Advocacy Award of Excellence. This is DOCOMOMO US’s top advocacy prize honoring Preservation Buffalo Niagara and the Michigan Street Preservation Corporation for over 15 years of advocacy for the complex. Along with Willert Park Courts, the full slate of 2020 winners will be announced.
