The Association for Preservation Technology International’s (APTI) Technical Committee on Modern Heritage has brought together leading practitioners to share their insights on modern building envelope diagnosis, and evaluation of treatment options for assuring that performance standards can be met and sustained over a building’s extended life cycle. This two-part course focuses on technically sound approaches for addressing modern building envelope deficiencies and reinvesting in these buildings for extended life and improved performance while respecting their character-defining design attributes and (to the extent feasible) their historic materials.
