Yale School of Architecture will host a day-long symposium honoring former dean Robert A.M. Stern and reflecting on his legacy as an architect, scholar, and educator. Through panels, campus tours, and keynote, the program will examine Stern’s formative years, his engagement with architectural history, and the ideas that shaped his influential body of work.

Docomomo US is offering an exclusive 11-day tour exploring India’s architectural evolution from imperial landmarks to modernist masterpieces. Across five cities, participants will experience guided visits and special access to works by renowned architects while engaging in curated discussions on the dialogue between history and modernity. 

The James Rose Center explores the modern history of Ridgewood, NJ, beginning with the design and evolution of James Rose’s National Register-listed home and garden. Led by James Rose scholar Dean Cardasis, the lecture traces the development of Rose’s influential design ideas and how they culminated in what is widely considered his most significant work.

Presented by the Center for Architecture in collaboration with Poland’s National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning, Humanist modernity explores the work and ideas of Stanisława Sandecka-Nowicka and Maciej (Matthew) Nowicki.
